Based on the novel by Anita Loos and directed
by Howard Hawks, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is about two sassy
lounge singers as they tantalize men of two continents as they
pursue potential husbands on an ocean cruise to Paris. Marilyn
plays fortune hunter Lorelei Lee and sings the famous song 'Diamonds
are a Girls Best Friend.' The film also stars Jane Russell and
Charles Coburn.
